Is there a way to autowalk/autorun? Some key I can toggle?

Starting out on planets, I do a lot of running back and forth to get ores until I can make a rover/ship to help me. It would be nice to have a button I can just press to have my character automatically walk/run forward like in other games when i need to travel long distances, because my hand hurts if I hold down forward and shift for too long.

use a macro on keyboard, if you dont have such a keyboard... may i kindly ask... is it an amiga or C64 you play from? :P

but seriusly nope no auto run in this game unless you use a macro keyboard

Sorry for Necro Threading this topic but... There's actually an auto-run feature.

I found it by mistake - I wanted to turn numpad on. By using the Num Key, to activate/deactivate de Numpad, it toggles auto move forward, which you can turn into auto-running by clicking the shift key.
