Why is no one talking about this besides ZER0? I've tried finding if anyone else has covered this and I can't seem to find anything on it.

its interesting stuff to be sure and I'm not doubting Zer0 at all, I just want to see the newsletter myself or read more. granted the news letter is shown in the video. I'm just confused to how its not being talked about or shown by others I guess?

Hi, looks like they will add a new Faction, and I hope they will come with stations to conquer on all planets and moons, at least.

I create different Factions with AI Warships set as enemy protecting a cool station to conquer and surely easy for the SE Programmers to add, well in my opinion :)

Nobodys talking about that because Keen is really really REALLY bad to share stuff like this on they're main Platform wich is Steam.

Aha yeah thats very true. You'd think an announcement like this would be big news in the SE community. But he's the only one covering it. Which is cool. But you're totally right about keen 😅🤣

+ I think it would be cool as option to enable/disable or a new Sandbox world already having the enemy Faction with stations and ships to conquer, so all can setup to their liking.

That would be cool, I personally play with alot of the MES mods and as great as they are. They never really work against the player. More of a looming threat that can destroy you if you are unlucky or challenge them without the proper gear. So this news about a potential faction that could maybe work against the player would be cool.

Yeah, and they can transform into your friends, like take on the names of poeple on your friendlist and then they suck your face off.

I will add :

IMO = Not much are talking about it because the majority of the SE Players don't like to do Battle scenarios, most bought that Sandbox game just to create ships, rovers and stations.

You can also scour the keen forum, when they announced the prototech update they also marked a few posts in progress such as XL blocks, pirate stations and random wreck encounters

I think Keen is trying to do this exclusive newsletter thing. But it's shooting themselves in the foot because it stifles organic interest.

Fair enough, Personally I love the PVE content from the workshop as it makes the world feel more alive.

Don't get me wrong, I love to build for the sake of building, but I also enjoy being challenged as I do so. granted SE itself has many of those with just building. But Personally I enjoy the idea of having my builds test their might against a greater foe, coming out on top or being destroyed and trying again, but also with a purpose to do so.

perhaps I'm just a masochist. but this explains why I do a mix of PVE and PVP on my servers I host.

I just hope it isn't too soon, but I also hope it is, either way. I know my beautiful setup mods and server will be ruined when SE gets the update lmao.

I will surely use all they can add PVE side but I like to create my enemy Factions and enemy Warships, too.

I have different enemy setups already, this one is protected in Admin Safe Zone and activate when player detected :
