My Blueprints work fine on the very first time I build the Bp but not when the cockpit get destoyed and I have to rebuild with projector = some actions don't follow on repair.
Vehicle toolbar icons missing after welding projection
https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/25466-vehicle-toolbar-icons-missing-after-welding-projection
That report is very old and the game is not the same today so I strongly recommend to create a new "Bug Report" on the Portal to have a SE Programmer testing this bug in the new game version.
EDIT
The reporter did not shared his Blueprint for testing so don't forget to give them a "bugged" one to test.
And I probably already figured it out... lol
Still doing some testing, but it looks like, if projector was turned off and on at some point, all toolbars become messed up...
So, Imma delete that topic right away... (I should test before submitting I guess :) )
From my experience, the toolbars get messed up if you ever turn off the projection or move it when you are welding. So you want to construct everything in one session before any logging off or server reboots.
Save the cockpits (or control seats) for last, so that everything exists before welding it into existence.
As you stated, putting EVERYTHING on the toolbar into groups is the best way to get a reliable weld without missing stuff in the bar.
