Example of Ship Drill Basic Setup :
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2999462336
1 - Sorter 1 on green connector set to whitelist stone.
2 - Sorter 2 on blue Cargo set to whitelist Uranium.
3 - Green connector set to "Throw out".
=
Eject stone and collect Uranium.
Sorter blocks are not really needed and I recommend to test both setups to gain experience.
EDIT
Test with and without Sorter.
Asking because Sorter creates a "One Way" that can prevent transfer when bad position.

You may share your save here so me and Veteran players can load to help you find the working solution.
-> How to share a world save on the Workshop :
1 - Select your save.
2 - Click the "Publish" button on the left.
3 - Choose a proper Tag, check Steam upload and click the OK button.
4 - Your world will be uploaded to Steam Workshop.
5 - Paste the Workshop item link here.
+ No Mods would be better.
Share, at least, some Steam screenshots of your conveyor line, one may see something wrong in your setup.
Check the drill(s) to see if the "Use Conveyor" setting is On or Off. If it's "OFF", then it will not push ore to other blocks.
+
It should work all on default.
+
You may delete/grind the blocks to add new one to be sure they are all on default settings
I do have it set to convey "ON" and have tried literally every way of piping for the last 4 hours
Tried that as well. Tried literally every way that you can. Even made a new game, I think the small Conveyor's are broken for drills, can't access drills if I pipe to anything
Just share your save or the blueprint of your creation so I can paste in my testing world.
How to share a save is in my post #4 above ^ and here is how to Blueprint :
FIrst you have to create the Local Blueprint by aiming at your Drill ship and hit Ctrl+B
And do the follwing when done :
1 - Open the Blueprints menu F10 in-game.
2 - Select your Blueprint in the list.
3 - Click the "Publish" button.
4 - Choose a proper Tag, select Steam Upload and click the OK button.
5 - Your Blueprint will be uploaded to Steam Workshop.
A >sorter> B
if you try to access inventory B by using block A you will not be able to as the sorters act as one way valve and you can't pull items back thought the sorted the wrong way
It might be worth adding I have been driven to cursing and fuming when ores wouldn't transfer, More than once I started to suspect the frikkin game was just screwing with me, only to discover I had missed an unwelded tube or one that got damaged somehow. The first time I was reduced to using spectator mode and flying through the innards to spot the culprit.
I have a small-grid small-conveyor mining/grading/tunneling rover I've been working on that does exactly this and works great, so long as I don't bang up the exposed tubes and overlook repairs.
Even on a brand new unit. I have tried several in creative, tried 4 in survival. Copied blueprints, nothing comes out of the drills on small conveyors, even got 2 of my friends to try. We can't get it
would make it way easier than this
