I play solo games and just run them on my comp and I can turn the PCU limit to 150000 but if you have set all those counters on the right side of the setup screen to 100000 then you may want to change the 3rd one down to 150000, reduce the name of players, drop the max number of objects down to 45 and animals to 16. I'll look back in a few to see how you're going, meantime I'll pop back in the game and check those settings.
Catchya.
Go Edit Settings, then click on Advanced.
In this screen un-check Block Limits
And turn slider for Total PCU all the way to the left which disables PCU count.
So I went in to Edit Settings, Advanced, there is no option that says Block Limits. There is max blocks per player and that is disabled.
That was it. Thanks I really appreciate the help. What or why is PCU a thing in this game? Is it something where if too many blocks are placed it starts lagging out or something?
-> Playing with Block limit, you must have about 8 players in your Faction to be able to build a station with a few ships on all planets, moons and space.
+
-> You will be able to build one station and a few ships for one planet only if alone in MP world and that is a very short gameplay.
=
Best to disable the advanced setting named "Block Limit" if you play alone or with one friend especially to build on more than only one Planet.
Note
We must enable "Experimental" from game options to unlock the advanced setting named "Block limit" and be able to disable it.
EDIT
I will add :
There will be popup messages when enabling "Experimental" and disabling "Block limit" warning you about "No limits" but don't worry because we must build absurdly Huge creations to lower the Perfo in Local Worlds.
You may keep an eye on the World Perfo on screen (Hit Shift+F11) if you like to build absurdly Huge and stop when you will see the "Simulation Speed" going under 1.00.
-> 1.00 Simulation Speed is the OK value.
PCU (Performance Cost Unit)
PCU limits are the next iteration of block limits. Its purpose is to keep server performance in a more effective way than just limiting block types.
Every block has its own defined PCU value, which says how much performance impact a block has under full load (when all its systems are activated).
More PCU, more performance heavy the block is. PCU can be defined per world, as a pool, which can be used for building. This pool is then split per player, per faction, or global.
Imagine a server having block limit disabled, the world will be open at large for One player to be able to create Absurdly Huge Mothership that will make him a "God" and probably lower the server Perfo.
=
Not very cool MP Gameplay.
World open at large = Players can exaggerate at a point they can crash the server because no limit.
So if I create a single player game, then I press escape, click on players, click on invite, click on my friend's name and he joins my single player game, now it's a multiplayer game, what is that really considered?
I wouldn't consider that to be a server, and I say that only because I've hosted a Minecraft server years ago, but it was actual server software.
So with my friend joined into my game, what kind of performance hit am I taking? I did turn off PCU limits in the admin tools.
My friend was thinking the PCU limit was based on the hardware in your computer.
IF you did not disabled the one named "Block limit"
= You will be able to build the minimum and will need friends to join your Faction to be able to build more.
IF you disable the "Block limit"
= You will be able to build all you want on all Planet, Moons and Space, and more.
+ Don't worry about the Perfo because it's Ok with A LOT of ships and stations on all Planets, Moons and Space.
Here is the world Perfo where I have 2 Huge Motherships with ships and stations on all Planet, Moon and Space :

Shift+F11 -> Simulation Speed stable at 1.00 = Perfect
For example,
the FPS and Simulation Speed go down faster for a +150 blocks long Mothership :

Just don't exaggerate and you will be able to build all the needed for all Planets and more.
Thank you for all of the information you've given me.
