Also go into the control panel, select everything and set it's ownership to you.
It is in ship mode or station mode?
Does it have voxel cliping through?
Does it have a gravity anchor?
Does the ship have a landing gear? If so that will hold the ship in place, switch lock of this and move away quickly or turn off auto lock and then unlock.
If it is a station and can't be converted this means there is voxel inside some of the blocks, you are likely going to need to dismantle the entire ship because while you might clear everything from inside armour cubes and such there could be small fragments in small pockets of space and while you can convert the craft to a ship, moving will almost always tear apart your ship violently.
If ion thrusters, is it on planet? They only work somewhere between 20 and 30% so might not move your craft at all, though this is less likely since it should still move somewhat in various directions.
So now I can fly the ship. Thanks for all the help!
