How do I Disable Autopilot?

Autopilot is very buggy. Sometimes you must grind down the remote control block to get it to disengage.

Edit: If simply right clicking on the remote control block and selecting Autopilot off doesnt work that is.

well, i don't have a remote control on my ship... and it's fine in space with my large ship but my small ships won't work, and in planets NO ship will work, this hasn't been like this since the last update

Well help me out then. What doesn't work? You initially asked how to disable autopilot. Do you see a message on the screen that the autopilot is engaged? Or are your ships just not responding to input from your mouse?

I know the game and its bugs can be frustration, but if you provide some more info maybe I can help.

I'm having the same problem I made a new ship and the auto pilot was already engage pls fix this I don't even have remote control to my ship

It's a slightly older bug. Do you have any landing gear on your ship?

I was having this issue yesterday, when i was in creative, had to duplicate the ship a few time's and some worked fine and other's had the autopilot on

Occasionally when jumping in a ship it will display the autopilot message, happens to me mainly when I've disconnected two ships, one of them will be stuck in autopilot. Its a bug thats been around for a long while. I've tried grinding the remote control block, switching everything off and on and the only way I've found of beating it is to save and reload the game.

Please do post it to the bug thread so that keen sees its an issue for you.

If you're getting the autopilot issue and you have no remote blocks, you can usually get rid of he bug by disabling all the controlls on your cockpit, then re-enabling them.

there are no landing gears
