Customise fireworks in Creative mode?

So I pretty much exclusively play in Creative, and I have not been able to find a way to customise the fireworks, as even if I load a specific type of firework into a launcher, it still launches a multicolour firework. Is there any way around this?

Modify it. Create a mod.

em ... maybe u need to set up all of your creation , and reload the ammo to firework launcher .then ,change the game to survival mode .

I've got the exact same issue here. Trying to use flares but even with them in the firework launcher it just shoots rainbow fireworks. I can see all the ammo types listed under the BuildInfo mod and no matter what it has "Fireworks Rainbow" selected. Seemingly no way to change it. I did try firing it until reload but it remains rainbow.

Hi, it's not working in creative mode because ammos are not used, we must be in survival to use the different fireworks ammo colors.

Same for a lot of blocks, like weapons and power block don't need anything to work in creative mode.

A thing I do all the time is to test my creations in survival where I enable all the God modes in Alt+F10, it's like creative mode world except all need to be powered and ammos will be used.

-> Hit Shift+F10 to spawn in all you need in survival.
