I do agree if we had a Medium size for large grid it would be nice.
Small grid ship/rover can use a small, medium, and large container.
The good news is the small large grid container holds more than the medium small grid you are trying to place.
If you place an advanced rotor on your large grid (assuming you've plumbed it up with your conveyor system), you can grind off the advanced rotor head and in the menu, replace is with a small 3x3 rotor head. Weld the rotor head up and you can place a small grid medium cargo container on that way.
It doesn't need to be the advanced rotor, the regular cheaper rotor is fine unless you want to connect something with conveyor access.
Adds a large grid 3x3x1 & small grid 3x3x1 & 5x5x1.
