Blueprints not copying control bindings
I built a blueprint from the workshop. But most of the key-binds for the cockpit and some of the timer blocks and sensors just give a blank cube and are not mapping to the proper things. Is there a way to get blueprints to properly load key-binds/controls? I cannot find anything about this issue in discussions or online.

Ship is fully built so all relevant blocks exist and I have tried messing with the build order of the binded blocks to the thing doing the controlling but it does not seem to matter... (ie grinding the sensor and building it after the doors are in place did not differ from building the sensors before the doors. in fact grinding the cockpit out and building it last actually made even less key-binds transfer) I have also copied the ship into creative and when just copying and pasting it works fine and all controls load. What I am having to do is read the binds in creative and then manually fix them in survival... and hope they work correctly lol. Anyone with tips to fix this please help.

Hi, it is a old reported Bug that is still not fixed, sadly.

It happens for specific blocks so the best is to pinpoint the ones that shows a blank cube so list the blocks by comparing with the pasted one and send that block list or screnshots of both to the SE Programmers to push on the fixing.

Click "Submit Bug" on their Support Portal :

Workaround:
Put everything you need on the control bars of cockpits, timers, event controllers, buttons, sensors, etc - into special groups. Even if it is a single block. Make a naming convention - for example, special groups created specifically to avoid grey cubes after the grid has been printed - all start with @ so that these groups are displayed together. Then add @groups, not cubes, to all toolbars.

Groups persist even if all blocks of the group are deleted. Or not built yet.

I think the only way to delete the empty group is to add a block to that group (if you can remember the name of that group) and then delete the group using the Delete button to the right of the list.
There is no "delete empty groups" function in the game or I do not know how to access it.
