Nanobot Build and Repair System question
Hey! I've made a ship in creative mod, saved the blueprint and now trying to build it in survival.
It's too large to build manually so I choosed to use the mod 'Nanobot Build and Repair System'.
It worked fine, but after the ship was finished, I figured out that it does not count as a separate grid from my base even after I dismantled the 'bridge' of light armor blocks.
So I googled and found out that it is recommended to put the blueprint projector on a rotor to make sure that the grid will be separate. The bad thing is that now I cannot put the 'bridge' to the ship to let it stand on something cause projector placed on rotor 'displaced' the projection up for around 0.2 of large grid block size.
Any advice on how to do it properly?

The blueprint will be built as a static (non-moving) grid since you anchored it to your base. Once it's been cut loose, just go into the Info tab and change the ship's setting from "station" to "ship".

But I told you that it did not count as a separate grid after I cut the 'bridge' to the station.
I don't have 2 grids, I have only 1 grid for station, that includes both station and ship.
That's the main problem.

He means place the projector on the rotor head, which anything built on will be considered a sub-grid, and not part of the main station grid. Once the BP is printed, detach (or remove) the rotor base, and the BP will be disconnected from the station completely. :P

Turn the thrusters on, reconnect with blocks to your base, than go into the advanced settings for that save and enable "unsupported stations". When the save reloads just remove the blocks connecting it to the base and the game will automatically turn it into a ship.

Don't forget to tap the heels of your ruby slippers together three times while saying, "There's no place like home. There's no place like home."

Is it close to the voxels? Maybe there is one inside the ship (or close enough to count) preventing it from becoming a ship? Stuff like lights that look like they aren't in the voxels might be because they take up the whole block of space.

I have seen some pretty crazy "jaggies" in my days of wandering around on cliff sides on some of those planets. Maybe one is IN your ship.

It's on an ice lake ~1 large grid cube above ice (in the air). No part is touching ice. And I did not mine it.

Will try if it happens again, thanks.
I've decided to rebuild the ship on a rotor and already in the process of building.

Yep I'm doing it already, thanks. It sucks though that I cannot just build from a connector.
