It won't build itself
Well - then try to reposition the projection slightly - the game wont allow you to weld a block that is not anchored to a projector - and not all sides of blocks are "sticky" say like conveyor tubes or some parts of the larger blocks like a refinery or large cargo boxesfor eg - so maybe that's the problem - aka try anchoring the projector to normal squarearmor block for eg.
Technically it doesn't need to be anchored to the actual projector itself. It just needs to be anchored to the same grid that the projector is on... so any block may suffice in that regard.
Is there a block connection from the same grid the projector is on to the projected image? It'll go solid white if it's weldable.
(Also consider if your projector on a hinge/rotor etc such that it's on a separate subgrid. in which case the usual way to get it connected to the same grid is by connecting to the projector itself.... but it doesn't have to be that way if there's no hinge/rotor involved, the connection can be from any part of the same grid the projector is on)
Also posting a picture helps everyone see what may be causing the issue.
