Connector won't lock
I have come to this game quite late. Having a drama using connectors to dock my ships. I get in close, the connector shows a white cross but I cannot get it to go green. not sure what I'm doing wrong, pls help.

Make sure you own both connectors and press P to lock up.

Seems to work as long as I don't lock the landing gear

Or at least use the P key to lock the landing gear.

Yes, P also locks the landing gear, so if your connectors are such that your landing gear is in position too, then just press G, find your connector and drag it to your hotbar, then select the Toggle lock on/off action and use this to lock and unlock the connector and reserve P for your landing gear.

Edit: use one or the other not both, if you try to connect and lock landing gear it can work against one another and damage your ship.
