Why is my Assembler not pulling from my Refinery?

The rear Assembler door is connected to the front Refinery door, so shouldn't the Assembler automatically pull ingots from the Refinery when it doesn't have what it needs? I have a lot of Iron Ingots in the refinery that aren't moving over to the Assembler even though it's queued to build steel plates.

And before anyone asks, no, the Assembler is not full of ingots. There's still plenty of volume left.

Creative or Survival? If Creative it doesn't really work like it is supposed to since the resources are not really required. If Survival it could be an ownership issue.

Upload your world to the workshop and post a link here and I'll be happy to take a look.

its not because of any faults made by myself or my buddy, it has to be a ingame bug...

1. dont say its not you unless you have 2000 hours play time
2.Check ownership make sure its not set to nobody...
3. make sure the conveyor access doors are lined up right
4. Try grinding it down past blue and red bars then rebuilding...
5. If its an in game bug and you have everything perfect... Bug report it....

I just created an Easy Start 1 (platform) world in Survival with all other default settings. The Assembler was empty but there were Iron ingots in the cargo box. I queued 10x steel plates and the assembler pulled the Iron ignots from inventory and produced the plates.

Please try doing the same. If that works it's not a ingame bug. If it doesn't work then you might have a bad build. Try verifying your game cache.

Finally, if you don't upload your world and let us look at it, I'm not sure how you expect us to help.

If you want it to auto pull items like Iron Ingots into the assembler. Just build a sorter, set it to whitelist what items you want in it, and set the sorter to auto pull items. Easy. Just not sure why you would do that, when the assembler will auto pull items like iron to build if it has a conveyor connection to the resources. Hope this helps

Ensure there is enough power. And I'd make sure you weren't in the deconstruct option

edit: i tried it in singleplayer, there it works still fine except on the online server.

For some reason my ships will do push/pull with conveyors fine but my stations refuse to even in super simple setups. I finally used a programmable block script to force it to work properly.

So if it works find in SP but not MP do you think there may be an issue with the server? Is this your server? Could there be a mod causing the issue?

its a friend`s server, but yea i think its a mod that causing the problem but it worked before the update xD
