Debug Menu?

I feel like I'm missing something... but how do I open the debug menu that is in the recent video from the devs showing off the latest patch? It says press F11 but nothing happens when I press F11. Any help is appreciated. Chances are it's just something going over my head.

Posted this again in General to see if I could get better luck with an answer.

acording to the basic button config it should be f11. you may need to check your config and see if it got changed somehow.

I don't think I'm looking in the right place. I checked in the SpaceEngineers.cfg file in Appdata/Roaming/SpaceEngineers/ and found an area for controls, but no specific controls. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? Thanks in advance.

Ahh nevermind. I figured it out. Just clicked Defaults in the controls (even though I didnt see a place for the debug menu). That fixed it. Thank you!

I'm having this porblem myself. I hit the defaults button but I'm still not able access the debug menu when I hit F11

For me, I can't *only* press F11. For those of you having trouble with the debug menu, like I did for so long, try pressing Alt+F11. It worked for me.

I found that in the main menu, I can press F11 with no trouble, but later found it won't open in a game. I think it may be only Offline games that it works in.

You can't debug a server based game unless your the admin, I would asume.

Even as admin, it won't let me. Although I have not tried it with dedicated servers.

I know this thread is old but for anyone that has this problem. Your world has to be in offline mode first before you can use the debug menu (F11). If its an existing world you might have to edit the save first to make it be in offline mode.
