How exactly does electricity work?
Okay, so I've racked up at least 60 odd hours of gameplay, and I really only have a rough idea of how electricity works. From what I understand; solar panels, batteries and reactors all provide varying amounts of electricity. Reactors require fuel, but provide the most power per single block (i.e., 1 reactor > 1 Solar Panel or 1 Battery); Solar panels require no fuel, but provide the least power per block; and batteries are the most efficient, but can only run for a limited time before requiring a recharge. Electricity will run through a completed block, but not an incomplete one.

What am I missing? Is it possible to transfer electricity between blocks?

(By the way, I might be making one of these posts every week about a different aspect of the game so I have something to talk about in my Let's Plays)

From what i know Electricity runs throw blocks even incomplete blocks (like incomplete light armour)

Solor panels do generate more power the better aimed towards the sun that they are, and though they do generate less power then a gen, they tend to be better for certain things like stations, or recharging facilities, they are also great for recharging batteries since using solor power combined with batteries makes it so you essentially have unlimited large ammounts of power from those batteries. Batteries are also good backups so if for any reason you run out of fuel from gens, or your solor panels get damaged you can continue to run the power wile you repair or refuel your gens and panels. Power will go through uncompleted blocks they just are easier to destroy, a ship made of almsot nothing but scafolding will still run.

Elecricity run through incomplete blocks too.you can see that on the easy starter map...
that crane have 2 redlights on top and they work even on a frameblock.
the batteries require energy to charge.
so you need solar panels/generators anyway.
