Antenna Remote Access Not Working

Hi,

I've been having some problems with the new remote access feature. I can't get it to work.

I'm trying to remotely access a small ship from a large ship. Both ships have antennae with sufficient power, and both are owned by my faction. However, according to the new menu in the control menu, the large antenna is never within broadcast range of the small antenna. Even when I park the two ships right next to each other and max the broadcast range of each, I can never remotely access one ship from the other.

Is anyone else issues with remote access? Am I just doing something wrong?

I had some issues but I replaced both antenna's put them to my faction and put it to share with all and it seemed to work.
I hope your issues will be resolved because its really handy :)

Bump because nothing's working. Replaced the antennae multiple times, tried moving them different distances apart, tried every sharing option, tampered with their broadcast ranges. I still can't remotely control the small ship from the large ship. The small ship is always out of broadcast range no matter where it is.

I was having trouble with this, found out that putting an antenna on a rotor has issues, since its considered an extension of the ship and not the actual ship or something along these lines. So when I moved the Antenna to the main ship not thru the rotor part of the ship, it now works correctly.

Same here, the game doesn't like expandable fancy spinning antennas

by me it was working. but then it's not ... all is set on me and the ship is in range. I CAN set all of the config but the Control button is grey...

Had this issue, if its by a connector, lock then unlock it

Worked fantastic. Thank you. I didn't replace the antenna's, but as soon as I changed the faction it worked right away. Cheers!

had this problem until i found out the ship i copied in didn't have it's antenna on. the beacon below the antenna fooled me.

Alright I've been struggling with this for a long time now same as you and nobody's advice has been working, I'll tell you what the problems is.

Your character has their own "antenna" and by pressing O you have disabled it, therefore you have no antenna with which to connect to your ship. press O again and everything will be OK.

Then your broadcasting is off ( "O" key ) or they are. If that still doesn't work then post a bug report with a world upload and your system specs.
