Ship Name

I've tried to use the Antenna option to show ship name... So now I'm a proud owner of Small Ship 4775. Anyone knows how to change that name without using SETools?

Go into your controll panel, select the antenna and you should see a space where you can change the name.

Also there is now a mod on workshop with gives you big honking metal letters to paste on your ship and give it a proper "USS Spacemoth*f*cker" name!

Yeah, I know that, but that would be the antennas' name. I guess the name of the ship itself isn't changeable yet?

go to your control panel, select info and on the right there is a space with your ship name/ number, you can change it there. i can tell that these guys aren't helping at all. :)

Just be sure you own more than half of the ship blocks. Otherwise the option won't show up.

So, someone resurrected this thread? Just to note - I created it before the option to name ships without SEToolbox was in the game.

Do you own the ship? (Every single block on it?) That's the number one reason all the options under the info tab do not show up.

Ok, I just recently started Playing Space Engineers, but the same Question as the opener came up to me.
I already know how to use the Antenna to show the Ship-Name or the Player-Selected Antenna-Name.
But your "Help" just blindly go into a "The Option is not there"-Direction.
And here's the Info-Page, hot it appears on my Screen running @ 1080p:

So it would be nice to get to know, where you think this should be, and if you're having that mysterious Textbar there, I demand a screenshot that shows it in this screen.

Firstly, avoid resurrecting threads that are almost a year old. This is known as necroing.

Secondly, the Info tab is found in the K-menu of the ship's terminal. It's one of the right-most tabs lining the top of the menu. There are a bunch of stats, and a line with the grid's current name, and an OK button next to it to save the change.

Firstly: Oh, sorry, that I searched the threads before I stated that I have the same Issue, I should have known, that I should start new threads everytime the (for me new) Problem occurs.
Before your Firstly, I assumed, that users aren't supposed to start a bazillion Threads about the same Issue. Necroing doesn't apply if the Problem is currently at hand.

Secondly, did you actually take a look on my Screenshot? - If so, you should recognize that there is not a Field with the Ship-Name that is editable, like it was stated in the Post, I was referring to, and to make my Post point correctly to the one I was referring to, i also quoted it.

Thirdly, the Problem still consists, and I'm already in the Info-Tab, as you should clearly see in my Screenshot, THERE IS NO "OK"-Button. So I'd kindly like to ask you, of where I can find the Function to Rename the Ship, and not just the Antenna, as I already figured out how to rename the Antenna and Ship-Parts like Drills, Thrusters, ...
