Can't remember which set it is but I think another set was given to people who purchased the deluxe edition (with the early alpha version of the game included).
Fairly sure there have been other promotions as well but couldn't tell you what they were for or which skins went with them.
Could swear I've had more than 3 drop in one session though... maybe I'm imagining that (?!). Will have to test it some time. There's still a ton of skins I don't have yet.
Out of curiosity, does anyone have a link for an up-to-date list of all the skins?
The most recent list I can find is from 2017.
I don't have that one, and I have both games õ-o.
Cause you should have it if you have ME so that is not good, prepare your Steam E mail you got when you bought ME to show them =
SPECIAL OFFER
Owners of Medieval Engineers will also receive an exclusive "Medieval" skin set which they can use when customizing their Engineer's appearance.
If you prefer to ask the ME / SE programmers > https://support.keenswh.com/
but I would try Steam support first.
Seem to remember that conversation happening here as well. I think Keen were genuinely surprised that people wanted the skins enough to complain about not recieving them.
I remember the initial reaction to skins wasn't very positive. Guess maybe Keen half expected the idea to flop.
Well my purchase history says I owned the game since day 1 (October 24, 2013) of its initial release, I wouldn't even have recalled that myself. That's probably early enough
You would've had to recieve the update in which that skin was released *during* the offer period. If for some reason you recieved the update after the offer expired you would not have got the skin, as it was patched out a short time later.
You also would've had to play the game during the offer window.
The skin didn't drop as individual pieces from Unknown Signals but rather the whole set dropped at once when you played the game for the first time after the update.
If I remember right, the offer only lasted for one or two updates. It didn't hang around long.
This was half the reason people complained about not recieving the set.
