That's why I posted lol. I got it workng earlier today after fooling around with it and finding the problem. Just follow the instructions in the video but also REVERSE the depth map.
This is great is it worth it!! Does it look ok. Can you build and, and does control seats
and turrets have problems?
Sorry for the questions just got very exited!
Everything works fine except using the mouse to click on your HUD elements like if you have menus open. This is because it's actually showing two images at once on your normal monitor (in VR you see one half in each eye to give the 3d effect) and your pointer can be over the non interactive one. You just learn to keep moving it over until it lines up properly.
Aside from that it plays exactly like flatscreen but the screen image is in stero 3D. No motion controls or head tracking, it's a 3D stereo display, no other VR features, but I'm plenty happy with it as it gives a real sense of scale.
Yes, you have to. And if you have a Quest 2 that means you need the version from the Quest 2 store, not the Steam version or the Rift S version.
The game will end up playing in VD like if you were watching one of those 3D movies that aren't 180 degree or whatnot, but regular screen sized.
Ok cool, i have a rift S so i should be ok thxs again
Yep, remember to reverse the depth map on the same screen where you see him fiddling with showing the depth map and all. That was the trick for SE.
Will do
I had heard mixed things about Vorpx and didn't want to shell out money to be disappointed. This way thankfully doesn't cost anything extra and works with just as many games.
