Ore Detector broadcast
I was wondering on this while playing Space Engineers. What does disabling the "Broadcast using Antenna's" do? To me it just seems to never show me where ores are anymore and I was wondering if that was just me or that was intended. Thanks in advance!

yep, if you turn off the "broadcast using antennas", then the ore detector would only show ore deposits when you're sitting inside the pilot seat of the ship. but when you got an antenna on board, and you enable broadcasting on both the ore detector and the antenna, then you should be able to see the ore blips even when not being seated in the ship or even when flying another ship.

^^^ that's how it works. For example, if you canabilize the beacon on the lander and make an antenna then you can broadcase the Lander's large grid ore detector thru that antenna.

As a result you can receive the ore locations using your suit's antenna. You are still limited by the suit antenna's range but it makes it possible to see ore locations from a much farther distance than that provided by the hand drill.
