Silver ore not refining

I dug up about 2k, can't get it to do anything - I drop it into my refinery and it instead pops into small cargo container. Why?

You need the full refinery. Basic refinery won't do.

Yeah I found it about 15m after I posted this. Annoying as the time I wasted was. Thanks tho.

Basic refinery only refines stone, and iron, nickel, cobalt, silicon, and magnesium ores; silver, gold, platinum, and uranium ores require the advanced refinery.

i had same issue was all happy i found silver threw er into the system and nuthin happened was major bummers cause all i needed was some med comp for a survival kit now i need to go get stuff to build a good refinery

Depending on the difficulty you're playing with, you should prolly build a ship to mine materials in.

im running never surrender on mars planet im now at point im trying to migrate entire base into space at which point i will start building a mining ship

Are you building a minor miner, or a major miner?
