Recharging Without a Connector
Other than using a Reactor, is there a way to recharge a Battery without connecting to another grid? I have a tiny speeder bike that I use to scouting but it's so tony that a connector looks huge.

Is there another way to recharge without a mod or without using a Reactor that I have no Uranium for?

Rotor head on your grid thats needs charge, and rotor base on your Base then connect them, but a fair warning clang might not like this.

To reduce clang, you could use a merge block array. The small grid has a big and tiny merge block. The big one can connect to a large grid merge block.

The downside is that if you named your bike grid, it'll keep losing its name.

Do you have ice? Make a "garage" that is small block resting on the ground or on a mag plate or landing gear, and attach batteries, cargo, H2/O2 generator, and hydrogen engine.

Drive in, and merge block the vehicle and set onboard batteries to recharge. When charged, un-merge and let the "garage" charge the batteries with ice as you drive elsewhere.

You could probably use a rotor head to connect too.

Otherwise, solar panels and a few days.

Recharge without connector? Use solar panel if small grid. Wind turbine if large grid. Merge block. Rotor head that will probably spin you to explode.

Small grind hinge wasn't mentioned yet, connects the same way as a rotor.
You can use the hinge and rotor methods above. The small merge block definitely seems to be the best. I like to add a small merge block to the back of a vehicle, the build the adjoining merge block on to it and eventually a small block connector. I just make sure that my temporary connector is tall enough to link up with my regular connector. I then dock the two connectors together. Once locked, I then unmerge my rover. The connect to merge block grid is left in place and now I can just merge without an issue. That's the easiest way to do it without rebuilding your large grid or adding rotors or hinges.

Make a base with a high placed connector that spits ice from above, install collectors on top of ur thing and add to it a o2 maker and a hydrogen engine :D

This is actually something I hadn't thought of. I also need to give small grid merge blocks a try.

Thanks everyone!
