Refinery not working
Its turned on and has power but when I put in an ore, it doesnt refine. Just the Survival Kit work.

You probably need more power. It takes several solar panels (3 or 4 I think), a couple wind turbines (if I remember correctly and the wind is blowing normally), or a small reactor.

thank you guys, it's working, 4 solar panels for a basic refinery :steamhappy:

Try the speed modules out if you want to experience real power consumption, each one added uses the same amount of power as an extra refinery. Can take that 560kw requirement to 2.80mh, though maxed out it also makes it five times faster so its pretty cool, great for x1 survial if your refining a slow metal like platinum.

Though i wonder how many people actually play on x1, i can't be the only masochist.

I prefer yield modules for refineries and speed modules for assemblers. Four yield modules on a refinery will double the ingot output for the same quantity of ore.

I dont see many like you around, sounds like a true pain. 1x is the worst xD

I tend to set up one refinery for yield on the fast metals and one on speed for the slow ones.

Well someone has to do it, it certainly adds more gravitas to your builds when 100 hours on x1 gets you about 5 iron ingots and maybe half a cobalt.

I put two speed, and two yield on our refiners... then just let them do their thing. On assemblers, I put 2 speed and 2 power... although I'm questioning the need for the power modules... might just slap 4 speed.
