Remote control Shortcut?
Is there a way to make remote controll shortcut instead of going through menu and hitting control?
Mod?

No need for mods. Just add the remote control block to a cockpit / control seat hotbar.
When you drag & drop the remote control block from the config menu into the hotbar you'll get a context menu for what action you want the hotkey to perform. Select "Control".

The only shortcut that I know of is Shift + K.

Wait... are you wanting a shortcut direct from the space-suit (IE while not in a cockpit / flight seat)?
If that's what you meant then... ^ This. What @Dantheotherone said.

I do this from my suit > Go to inventory and click the dropbox on top left corner to see all remote contolable nearby ships and you just have to click the "control" button next to it.

You will notice that is the right place to control all!

OR

The add to toolbar is a thing, too!

Thanks, you saved me from pulling my hair out from 15 minutes of searching the internet for a key shortcut that isn't listed on the SE wiki, in the ingame help menu, or anywhere else for that matter besides this small 2, almost 3, years old thread. What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke, and it's such an important feature of the game too.

He SPECIFICALLY asked about a s-h-o-r-t-c-u-t. A "developer" should know Shortcut means a combination of keys with accelerators.

The game is reeking with stupidly hardcoded and hidden keys, you have to look in a dozen places to try and find them, or go to hopeless internet threads where everybody is blind guessing stuff. "Engineers"

Hi aztekann

sorry we lock +3 months old discussions because the game is not the same after a update where old discussions may/will contain false information, also to avoid community reports about "Necroing old".

That said, never be shy to create a new forum discussion, a lot are Sub to the forum where they receive a Steam mail when a new discussion is created and will step in to help.

Note

In case you don't know me I must specify :

I am not SE Dev but Moderator community helper/game tester and the SE Devs gave me the [Dev] Tag so I can be admin of the Workshop to help more.
(Steam Moderator Role can't be admin)

I also collect the most talked about every months to add to my monthly report to the SE Team, and I help the SE community cause it's my Fav sandbox game on Steam.

This discusion is now locked because too old (2018).

I will add, a lot of the keys were shared in-game F1, also Videos From SE Dev Xocliw so that would be the first videos to watch,

And like I said, just create a new forum discussion and Veteran players will help.

Some important Keys were pinned but removed at some point, here :
