No energy, no recharge options...
So, this means game over? I start in Custom - Star System. I drop down in my funny little pod and land. I start building, wind turbine, batteries,.. etc. I recharge in my pilot seat, up until when there are no options left to recharge - the pod recharge battery dies. So now what - I can just start over and repeat this routine again and again? If I have to make a Medical area, I need ore I cannot find. Can someone please politely tell me what the f&!*(@ I need to do? :)

It is getting on my nerves. Even checking youtube vids with how-tos and faqs do not get me anywhere.. so far. I'm sure this question comes up in this forum as well no wan again, but not in the first 10 pages (I'm sure, I tried).

You can recharge from your survival kit on your pod.

It's a good idea to get some solar power on your pod, ASAP. And you have to go quick to get things going.
Also, use the control panel on your pod to turn off any unnecessary power draws.

When you build a base, build a turbine, then you can easily make a survivial kit on your base.
If you need medical components, get them from the survivial kit on your pod.

But you dont even need a survivial kit to get power to your space suit..
You can build a SEAT on your base. Cheap and easy.

So to easily recharge your suitr energy, build a base with a turbine and a seat.
Then you'll be good to go
sounds your pod just ran out of energy. it that case the base youve build can provide you with power just build a seat on the base and take a seat there. you can also scrap your lander using the grinder and build stiff from the parts you get

It's probably not as bad as it sounds - as long as your suit has power.

So you've built a base with a wind turbine & a battery, which means you have power.

All you'll need to do is grind down the survival kit from the pod, and use those components to build a new survival kit at the base. You'll be short a few steel plates, but you can get those from grinding bit of the pod off.

Then you can use the new survival kit to recharge your suit & process ores until you can build some other structures.

If your suit is also out of power then I'm afraid it is game over.

If you do need to restart, the quickest route to sustainable power is to assemble a wind turbine on a little tower (remember: you don't need to fully build the armour blocks), rip the survival kit off the pod, & rebuild it at the base of the tower. Then you're good to go.
(that only really works on earth - there's a lot more stages to go through if you can't breath the air.)
Grind the survival kit off your pod and build a new one on the static grid.
Maybe you should have played the tutorials?

Hi, I prefered to go asteroid world in creative mode to learn all about the ION Nuclear space ships before going survival on planets.

But

Some prefer watching the Tuto video links in-game F1 or watch Splitsies SE Tutos, a lot like him because he is good at explaining and I recommend to watch the first ones :

I also recommend to go read all there is to know about the Weather, to know where the easy Biomes are, it adds Easy, Medium and Hard Biomes, to know where to start without lightnings :

Guys, thanks to your support I figured things out (I went to place a chair asap in the middle of my base). I'd give you all a nice man-hug, but covid-19 prevents me from doing this. My apologies. Thank you. :)

just glad to help an engineer - no need to apologize thats what that forum is for
We were all newbie engineers at some point. Many, many explosions and *CLANG!*s later, we like to think we're halfway competent at doing things. Trust me when I say that explosions make you a better engineer. ("huh. Maybe it's NOT such a good idea to put those in the way of thruster exhaust")
