"share with faction" still results in access denied error

Me and a few friends are playing MP, and we're currently having the issue that we can't access each other's ships even if "share with faction" is enabled. Setting the ownership to nobody is a partial fix, but sometimes not all blocks will be accessible.

This issue happened when I blueprinted all our stuff in the Crashed Ship scenario to a new Star System world. I wanted the server to have some kind of "progress" where I slowly add mods to it, and the first step towards doing that was to add planets. But that backfired.

Anyone has any idea how I can fix this issue? I tried the "reset ownership" in the world options, but that didn't work.

Hi, your are not the first talking about this and I have reported more than a lot already so I strongly recommend to send your save with the Dedic and client log files to the SE Programmers so they can have a look at this.


Report directly to the SE programmer so he can chat with you if he need more info.

Keep in mind that we must own 51% of the blocks in MP to be able to use.

I noticed that the affected inaccessible blocks don't have permission settings in the block menu. Across multiple worlds the blocks always have been: Lights, thrusters and upgrade modules. Might be missing a few, but those are the ones I found.

you have to share those with all if you want your friends to fully access your ship. some components of ships have personal ownership that are set to not be shared by default.(kinda makes sense since some of my friends like trolling with thrust override)

Since when? We could share our ships just fine a week ago.
