How do i unload my mining ship? (HELP)
Okay so i just built my first mining ship, and i kinda need help with how i unload it? i built a connecter for it and some conveyer pipes that goes into a cargo box, but when i land my ship on the connecter, nothing really seems to happend. I also tried attaching the connecter to (that thing that makes stone into iron and stuff, cant remember what it's called) and it used to work, stone would flow into it, but then when i made anything like steelplates for example, it would just go straight back into the connecter it was connected to. Sorry if my english is a lil bad, i'm pretty tired rn ngl. Please help.

You have to turn the connector on first, and it should turn red or yellow depending on proximity to the other connector. Then, tell it to lock and it should turn green and your view will change. You're good then.

I recommend to test one block at a time to find the automatic solution.

do this test in a new created creative world to gain XP :

1 - Place a floor of blocks with Station connector + Conveyor + Basic Refinery and needed power source (enough Wind Turbines at 10 blocks high).

2 - Connect your ship, so align the connectors and lock it green (hit P).

3 - Add stones in the ship cargo and see if it will go to Refinery auto, it will if all blocks are completely build and on the same station.

Seems OP was talking about a cargo container pulling the ore, not a refinery. OP, a refinery will pull ore from connected storage, but a cargo container won't. If you want to auto-unload from your ship into storage use a conveyor sorter, set it to whitelist ores and 'drain all' and it will pull ore from any source on the input side of the sorter. This also impacts what you can move manually though that conveyor connection, so sometimes you need to architect multiple pathways to different destinations for different materials. Takes some experimentation but that is most of the fun anyway :).
