Share the Steam "System information" so all can have something to start helping.
Copy/paste the Steam "System information", it's in "Help" on top of your Steam app, click on it, let it detect your PC and copy/paste all in here so I can see.
I use this world to play offline and online with a friend, but freezing only happens when playing online (at least never happened while playing alone)
About mods, i don't use them.
My pc specs are:
GTX 1050 TI
I7 6700
16GB RAM
An SSD of 120GB (where the game is installed)
HDD of 1TB
(I would share the System Information but it's in spanish and steam does not let me change the language for some reason)
I tried the workarounds and it fixed a problem with the fps and could play for an hour without problems, but freezes happened again. This time a message in the SHIFT + F1 tab showed up, but couldn't read it because it disappeared before i could read it all (something about "deleting small objects")
I found a hole with small ores that my friend mined but didn't pick up (I set the small objects dropped to 100). Could it be causing the problem? Also, is this limit shared or is it individual?
It may be a Streaming problem!?... + The host must run the game and stream all data to friends PC in same time so make sure nothing runs at all, well it would be better to close all if there are other apps running while you play to see if it's better.
And report to the SE Team if you can't fix cause they may have to push a hotfix for this so better let them know to have the hotfix faster.

Things you could try to find more clues on what is going on :
1 - Try the asteroid world.
2 - Disable some game options, like try without "Cargo ships", later on try without the NPC station, unknown signals, etch... just for testing.
3 - Hit Shift+F11 one time to see the world stats on screen and compare the asteroid worlds stats wth the others, the one with planets.
4 - Try disrect connect, PC to home router with wire if Wifi used.
Doing so will surely give you more clues that you will be able to add in your report.

Report directly to the SE programmer so he can chat with you if he need more info.
