2-way conveyor sorter?

Hi, I have a question about conveyor sorters. Let's say I have a container stocked with 2 different items. Is there any way to make a setup that allows one item to go somewhere with sorters, but instead of simply blocking the other, it sends it somewhere else? Thanks!

Use multiple sorters. You don't have to have only one exit point.

Your container is going to probably have 6 ports on it. Connect one sorter for item type A and connect another one for item type B. Or put a standard conveyor junction and connect the sorters to that.
