Reset custom game
Hi!

I started a custom game and autosave happened in an awkward situation (aerial miner flipped over...). Now I'd like to restart that custom game scenario but I'm unable to, always starts from where autosave happened, aerial miner compromised. Any ideas on how to reset?

If you go to the load screen, select that save, then choose "backups" you should get a list of past saved (default 5). If your lucky, one will be from before the flip.

Unless your in a multiplayer world.. then I think your stuck with the master save on the host computer/server..

Many players disable autosave for that same reason.

Yes, It's been a few years since the last time I booted SE so I might have forgotten a few things :)

I had enabled multiplayer so this apparently is how it is. But, even after deleting the contents of "%appdata%\Roaming\Space Engineers\" this persists, even though Steam Cloud is disabled after the operation...

After deleting "%appdata%\Roaming\SpaceEngineers", uninstalling and re-installing, the scenario seems reset...

Sure, but that nukes your entire player profile with blueprints, other worlds, config and all.

If you looked a little bit deeper you would have found that world save in "Saves"

Hi, just posting in because I saw your post about > Steam cloud < and I am not sure if you know this feature.

Important

Never enable the > in-game *Steam cloud < from main game menu because that feature is not made to save at all and will give publishing problems, this feature is OFF by default for a good reason.

=> It creates "Cloud Blueprints" when enabled and we can't edit / publish those.

If you want to save = The Workshop is the Steam cloud where we can save our creations.

The in-game Steam cloud is for members having 2 PCs with the same Steam account to transfer their new created world to their second PC.
