how can i prevent crashing into asteroid

so i am traveling right now from earth to mars it take soo long and i already crashed twice into asteroid had to reset game twice , any ideo how to destroy asteroids ?

It will take you at least 4 hours of REAL time to trafel from earth to mars... And drilling through voxel asteroids will take even more. You can rain rockets or warheads and just destroy asteroid, but it will take ridiculous amount of those weapons.

You can see asteroids from far away, just turn on dumps and change your flying direction to avoid asteroids. Or build Jump Drives and just Jump into mars direction.

Only if you didn't enjoy it. You can jump there, but you can also fly there. You can also get a way point there, and then use a remote control block with collision avoidance on to fly there while you do other things in the real world. Whatever floats your boat. It's only a waste of time if you feel it was, not if other people say it was.

A remote control block can be used as an autopilot. The autopilot mode has an option for collision avoidance. All of this is accessed via the terminal screen for the remote control block.

But to use autopilot, you need a GPS waypoint. Which typically means having been there at least once already. From the terminal screen select the GPS tab then click "New from current position".

And while dga8705 isn't wrong about it being up to you whether you fly or jump, most people would use a jump drive to travel that kind of distance.
