Does anyone know who or what Skinface is?

I was starting up a new world for creative use (building) so i used the empty world preset changed a few settings and loaded it up. I was then met with a respawn screen despite not selecting that setting and when i spawned i was right next to a charactor in red named Skinface in my offline world. Does anyone know why there was a static player? is this a bug? or hopefully a new npc feature thats only partily implemented maybe?

feel free to not trust want i am saying i wouldn't trust it myself.
this is more for any dev out there looking for a strange bug. if you want more details feel free to ask.

Searching the Keen forum I found this :

Skinface is the nickname of one of Keen's level designers > Aragath.

I was running the latest build (right before new character textures ect) and Skinface is still there creeps

it gives me the creeps reading about this because your never quite sure if you alone or not in this game. (big world and you can kill your nameplate)

This is reffered to as a developers mark, although it is interestingly bold that he set it up if the other developers tried to remove it his mark would appear more frequently. Usually marks are hidden Easter eggs.

Skinface is one of the lvl designer at Keenswh.
