Is anyone else getting odd wheel noises lately?
I have a wheeled vehicle hocked up on a connector and towed to the ceiling of my hangar (rotors). I never had any problems with this setup and it still works flawlessly. However, I keep getting rolling-wheel noises whenever I put it up there now and it's driving me absolutely -insane-.

I'm 100% sure, that it's the suspension since I've disassembled the entire thing until it finally stopped making that noise.

I've tried everything I could think of (messing with all of the settings, handbrake on/off, turning the entire vehicle off). Nothing seems to work. Am I alone with this or is this something that broke with the latest update? I'm desperate for any solution at this point.

I have the same problem with a large grid rover, always making noise like the wheels are moving when the rover is parked up. I have not got any idea how to stop it though.

Two settings you can try. Do them one at a time to see if it makes a difference.

1. Main Menu > Options > Audio > Speed based ship sounds - UNtick Load your save game and check it out. If that didn't work, exit your save game, and change the setting back to ticked.

2. Main Menu > Load Game > select your save game > Settings > Advanced > Sound - change from Arcade to Realistic. The down side to this is that you get the heavy breathing sound when running. See if that works. If it does not, from in-game, try #1 above again

#1 worked for me, but YMMV

Is there any way to turn off the heavy breathing noises? It is getting annoying.

Raise the wheels off the floor when you have chance like when connected to your base.
Beyond that I dont have any option.

So set it to Arcade and it stops

I do just that. Towing up small rovers to the ceiling helps a lot to prevent a number of other bugs. Especially inside wheeled mobile bases it's a rly good idea.

@WheelChock, I'll give that a try. Thx!

I hope the devs can deal with this soon. I'd rly like to upload that particular design to the workshop, but I don't want others to be annoyed like that : P
