Also, you may join the SE community on Keen Discord and choose the Xbox Role to unlock the Xbox community to chat with other Xbox players
All can join the Keen Discord from the permalink invite added to this pinned :

One of the SE Devs steps in the Xbox chats on Discord to help players sometimes so that is the best place to ask for help, well better than here where there is only PC players.
Workaround =
Must avoid placing a Medic Room and Survival Kit on the ship connector conveyor line.
Meaning > Station connector where ships connect = that conveyor line must not have a Medic Room or S. Kit on it because the vents and Medic room will stop working when ship unlock from station.
Edit
That bug gives the same problem description from the OP :
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2117162756
But i fear this doesn´t work every time. On many ships having this problem, this bug occurs without having anything docked on any connector. It just stops working. Nothing done at all, just walking around with the character.
