Please fix this very soon!
I play all default so I hit a key to skip the intro and the game does not crash for me.
But I still use the 2019 GTX Driver :
My Video Card:
Driver: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
DirectX Driver Name: nvldumd.dll
Driver Version: 26.21.14.4141
DirectX Driver Version: 26.21.14.4141
Driver Date: 11 20 2019
Send the crash log to the SE Team if you can't fix, to at least let them know.
Report directly to the SE programmer so he can chat with you if he need more info :
Email = support@keenswh.com
Or
Support Portal = https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc
(create "Bug report" on the Portal)
EDIT
How to share the crash log file :
The game log can be found here:
C:\Users\{YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log
or simply paste this into your Explorer:
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers
The log file should be from the game session where you've encountered the bug. If you start the game again, the log will be overwritten.
==> Attach to your "Bug report" on Portal.
OR
post log file to www.pastebin.com and add the link in your Email to support.
(sorry for double post)
If not =
1 - Restart the PC
2 - Verify the game files with Steam.
3 - Delete the CFG file.
4 - Delete the content of the ShaderCache folders. (that one fixed loading problems)
__________
> How to Verify integrity of game cache:
- Right click on Space Engineers in your Steam Library.
- Go to properties.
- Go to LOCAL FILES tab.
- Click Verify integrity of game cache
- When done try the game.
___________
> Type in your explorer: %appdata%\SpaceEngineers
Go to the SpaceEngineers folder
C: users / your username / appdata / roaming / spaceengineers
>> then delete the ''SpaceEngineers.cfg'' file and try the game.
____________
> ShaderCache folders are in appdata SE, same place above ^
I must specify that I am not a SE Dev but Moderator community helper, game tester and they gave me the [dev] Tag after helping the community and the Devs for years so I can have admin rights to help on the Workshop (Steam Moderator role can't be admin).
I also collect all the most talked about every months on the new created forum discussions to add to my monthly report to the SE Team.
And I do this because SE is my Fav Sandbox game on Steam and I like to help the community of my Fav.
Neither my is my card overheating nor does the driver crash. Quite a few people have mentioned this.
There was a message from the SE programmer that helped a lot too :
Dev Inflex :
"Anyone experiencing the sudden CTD when trying to place block (MissingMethodException), please update your .NET Framework (Runtime) installation to version 4.7.1 or newer as a temporary solution:"

Asus Z270-A MB
16GB DDR 4 Ram
500 GB SSD Evo 850
i7 7700k @ 4.2Ghz
I get some graphical upgrades were made by Keen, but I was running SE when it first came out on an i5 2400K, 16Gb Ram, 1TB SSD, originally a 550ti but upgraded to a GTX 760 OC Windforce. I was running 40+ FPS on that setup.
The new setup, a rig built for Star Citizen and the like, and I'm getting single digit FPS from 5+ year old space minecraft is disturbing. I abandoned running a server after paying out almost 7 months trying to get it to work and promise after promise from Keen, which never came. At what point is Keen going to get its sh*t together? Like it's 2020, enough is enough. Either finish the product or get out of the development game. I love SE, the concept and mechanics are good but my god... memory leak after memory leak, paying customers doing 90 percent of the testing, and don't tell me Keen is short on funds; their wealth is available with inquiry. I still don't understand that after all this time, 10's of millions in revenue, they still haven't hired a proper team and got this done. It's not vaporware like DayZ but it's certainly in the zombieware category. Is this like an east euro thing? Like an ex soviet attitude like their space program of going so far as to build their own space shuttle but never send anyone up?
I'm sorry for being so brash but guys.... other than mods with honorary hall monitor titles of "devs", Keen doesn't frequent the boards of their biggest game distributor Steam. I'd actually love to hear from them at some point, they certainly don't answer emails.
