HELP! New Player - how to refresh oxygen and hydrogen from survival kit?
I'm brand new to the game. I'm playing on the tutorial scenario "Learning to Survive".

I'm at the step where I must use the survival kit to replenish my oxygen and hydrogen. When I go to the survival kit and hold F - my health and battery get refreshed but not the O2 and H2.

The O2/H2 generator is online (powered) and has Ice in the chamber. It's connected to the survival kit. What am I missing?

Did you repair the conveyor connection? There is one part that you need to finish.

Ah! The little helper screen did mention to make sure the conveyor and other stuff is connected. How can I verify all the "connections" are good? Like I said I'm new. Unsure how to inspect each "tube" that leads from the o2/h2 generator to the survival kit.
make sure the lights on the pipe is green if they are then there is no connection problem for the whole link, yellow means there is a problem and reed means there is no power

Check the O2/H2 gens settings it might be an issue with the toggle at the bottom of the page

try turning your o2/h2 generator off then back on and hold the "f" key on the survival kit screen. if you have a cockpit connected, you can also sit in that to refresh o2 and h2 levels.

Alright, thank you Vampire. I figured out what was wrong. There was a conveyor tube that was not fully completed. I had to use my welder tool, plus grab some components from a nearby cargo to finish the repairs. Once I did that, the survival kit refreshed everything.

Thank you for the quick replies everyone.

Thanks to the OP for this thread and the ask.
Holy crap did this game need a better tutorial. I had to find this thread just to figure out you have to repair the broken conveyor segment to get o2 & h2. FFS you'd think a playtester or three would've caught this? The supposed 101 videos tell me how to configure my f**king toolbar before the basics of survival and production.
I get it's called 'Space Engineers' but I didn't expect to have to BE an actual Engineer to play the damn game.
