How to share the log on Steam =
The game log can be found here:
C:\Users\{YOUR WINDOWS USERNAME}\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log
or simply paste this into your Explorer:
%appdata%\SpaceEngineers
The log file should be from the game session where you've encountered the bug. If you start the game again, the log will be overwritten.
post log file to www.pastebin.com and share the link on forum.
Maybe try this =
Dev Inflex :
"Anyone experiencing the sudden CTD when trying to place block (MissingMethodException), please update your .NET Framework (Runtime) installation to version 4.7.1 or newer as a temporary solution:"

Here's the link to fix for those who have the same problem"

Go to your Library, find the Tools tab, look for "Space Engineers - Mod SDK". It's one of the game dev tools Keen released to everyone for free. Download the tool and then open up its folder. Go to Bin64_Profile and copy VRage.Library.dll. Now open up your Space Engineer folder and paste that in the Bin64. When asked to replace, click yes.
You should at least be able to start the game. It seems that some people get far fewer crashes, but experience quite a bit of stutter. I personally have a pretty smooth ride now on a R9 3900X, 1080 ti x2, and 32 GB DDR4.
Dan means well, but his copy/ pasted generic help is pretty useless. In this case, this update seems to have broken things for so many users. Mostly those on Ryzen, but they aren't the only ones.
Yeah I tried the VRage.library.dll trick and it still hung at the loading screen. I just upgraded my system. Now running:
Ryzen 9 3900x
XFX AMD RX 590
Vengence rgb pro 64 GB 3200 mhz
MSI MPG Gaming Edge Wi-Fi (now with lemon fresh sent!)
any other thoughts or tricks?
AMD users are having problems since 2019 and worst after last month major game update, some are not able to play at the moment and the SE programmer is on it,
You may help by sharing the game log file with the SE programmer :

That said, I'm sorry for those that have issues. Replace that .dll file, delete the shadercache2 folder, and re-install net framework. Those are my only ideas.
I am in since the beginning and always got my fixes after reporting a game bug.
Anyways, we're beating a dead horse. My complaints about Keen won't change anything. The many bugs this game now suffers likely won't get patched, more will be added in the future, and those who have issues will eventually give up/ refund the game.
Depends on the system it seems, I have a Ryzen 7 2700x and a 1080Ti and have no issues with SE.
Hard to say what is causing all those AMD related problems lately, so far it looks like mainly the newer ZEN 2 CPUs are affected.
Could have something to do with hardware configuration as well.
Edit
Report directly to the SE programmer so he can chat with you if he need more info :
