Programmable block and Keen support

For those that use the programmable block editor: The buttons to compile/save/browse are a little broken. Clicking on them won't do anything and you can't even exit the screen. The solution for now is to hold left mouse button on the button and click the right mouse button. Annoying, but workable.

Players are submitting bug reports to Keen for a long time now, and all they get is the statement of "Thanks. Looking at it." No help of workarounds or statements that the issue is fixed for now.

In these trying times, I want thank everyone here (including Dan2D3D) that try to answer questions. since Keen doesn't appear to want to try.

Edit : As of 2020-Apr-29 this may be resolved, since I can't duplicate the issue any more.

Hi, this one is in my monthly report and you can help me by reporting by Email or on the Portal, that would be kind and helpful so I will not be alone reporting

And no need to argue with me about the Portal and support Email because I use and it works not just for me, a lot of my bug reports got fixed a few days after I reported.

I found one reported 7 days ago but nobody shared the world and game log and why it is reaction mark as "Need more information"

I also saw another one where the author accidentally found the solution I stated above. I can't find that again in a quick check.

One of the things I don't like on the Keen bug report list is stuff like this. 4 Bug reports, essentially the same issue, 2 + 5 + 6 + 10 votes so a total of 23 but Keen could see it as a 23 or 10 or 2. Of course, I voted for all 4.

This bug has appeared for me is there a way to get rid of it? Without using crutches with the right and left mouse buttons.

I have this bug right now. Restarting the game didn't solve anything.
The trick with left+right button mouse work (hopefully) !

Okay, this discussion got unlocked (?). Thank you to Dan2D3D and the moderation team, and/or whoever requested the unlock. Here is an addition I put elsewhere but it should be here....

I don't think there is a better solution. Keen has allegedly fixed this a few times but then the issue came back. I don't think Keen is going to really bother trying to fix it better. The programmable block is listed as experimental so its a very low priority for Keen to study/fix and I consider it a bit of a blessing that the programmable block is still in the game.

Spamming left and right mouse buttons until it works has been the fix for this for about 3 years. Keen havent ever fixed this known bug. It happens occasionally and randomly then goes away for a while. Probably makes it difficult to replicate and squash.

EDIT: I found out that holding tab while rapidly clicking makes it work.

Solution :

I have solved the problem by holding LMB or RMB and just pressing the other mouse button. Strange
