Gas storage, Survival Kit, Medical Room, and Air Vents have a problem
As the title denotes, There is a problem with gas storage eg: Hydrogen, and Oxygen Tanks are refusing to fill, with plenty of ice in the grid inventory and everything linked up with conveyors, yet the tanks are not filling, nor are vents pressurizing rooms despite showing green lights on the vent. Oxygen "is" enabled in world settings, also Medical rooms, and survival kits refuse to replenish my suit , I can recharge suit power, and I can respawn at them but gases aren't getting through for some reason. I started a new save to see if it was just a mild corruption of my save, but this problem persists across every save I created. the only devices that I can successfully fill my suit with are enclosed cockpits Cryopod, and Bottles (via the O2/H2 Generator), and the Cryopod. I double checked all my conveyors first before lodging a complaint here on the forum. everything is piped up correctly, Oxygen is enabled in world settings. but nothing is working. I also verified Space Engineers 3 times. Still no change. It's not making the game unplayable as I can still achieve suit and bottle refills by other means such as going directly to the O2/H2 generator for bottles, and a cockpit or cryopod for suit, but it is annoying, and inconvenient.

Thank you for you time in this matter.

first
medical room and survival kit dont fill bottles
only h2o2 and tanks do
second u dont fill tanks with ice
u fill the h2o2 that produce hydrogen and oxygen
only these can be stored in tanks and they are invisible in the inventory
u can check how much is in hydrogen engines and the tanks if u are in to the block setup(for example the hydrogen tank)
in the middle are the setups(where u turn it on/off if it is allowed to fill bottels if it show on the list and so on) and on the right side is the fill level of the blocks(works too with batteries and generators for energie production/consumption)

First... Wrong.. while they don't fill "created" bottles" it should still replenish the suit
itself.
second. You need to set oxy and hydro tanks to "stockpile" if you want them to fill.
Third. You put the Ice into an O2 generator. this creates Oxygen AND hydrogen to
fill large and small tanks.
Fourth. You put your additional "personal" Gas bottles into the O2 gen to recharge.

If you are going to offer help, respectfully check and make sure you are correct....

I can only conclude that 1 or more of the following apply:
1) You have no ice available to your o2/h2 generator
2) The o2 / h2 generated cannot get to their respective storage tanks
3) Your o2/h2 generator and tanks don't have power, or are disabled, or have an incompatible setting.

One or more of the above ***WILL*** apply. Check again. If you don't find the problem, then you haven't checked thoroughly enough.

1)I know this, There are 2 O2/H2 generators on my grid, My problem is that the tanks are acting like they are not connected to the grid when I know for a fact that they are.

2) Medical rooms and survival kits are also connected to the grid, and you Can refiil you Bottles, Suit at both, so long as they are connect via the grid to a O2/H2 Generator, or a storage tank.

3) Ther are currently no hydrogen engines, or thrusters anywhere on my grid, I'm simply using the system to refill my bottle, and replensih my suit, I run reactors and solars for power.

4) And finally, I am not stupid, I have also been playing Space Engineers since it was first released as "Early Access" (so you're talking to an SE vetren here) with 8000+ hr's of gameplay. So I'll thank you to not belittle me like this. I was simply reporting a bug.

First of all, the grid is very small and simple with few conveyors and none of them are hidden yet as I have not yet armored my platform yet. so I don't how thorough you expect me to be. when I've been over the entire conveyor system several times. I have on small airtight room with an air vent and a medical room, and cryopod, It is refusing to pressurize as well. The room "IS" airtight with no leaks, as it is made from solid light armor blocks with no windows, and conveyor junction to seal it up where the pipes go through a wall.

2nd: I have 2 Million Kg ice in the system, All conveyors are connected properly, showing "Green lights" on them. Oxygen "is" enabled in world setting, the blocks are simply not F**King working correctly.

Look! I came here to report a bug, not to become fodder for trolls.

+1

This issue happens from the initial creation of the save for me.

To Everyone that replies here. I am a vetren player, and have been Playing Space engineers from the beginning of early acces, so I know all the ins and outs of the game, as I have had a small hand in how the game was developed through bug reports and suggestions.

Please read the whole original thread posted, before replying, As it is obvious that some of you have not. And please do talk down to me, or belittle me. IF you can't post anything intelligent, or helpful, I'd rather that you did not reply at all. "NO TROLLS ALLOWED!"

since i have the game(a year ago)
u could not fill your bottles with the medical bay or the survival kid

u can fill your suit hydrogen and your suit oxygen but not the bottles

u have to put the bottles into a tank or the h2o2 generator

but there is a exception to it

if u put it into any block with a storage
the h2o2/tank will suck it into the said blocks storage and fill it for u if the bottle is not full (if the option is activeted in them)

if it worked before than they changed it a year+ ago

I've had the game since it was first early access, and I am aware that you can not fill bottles from survival kits, or medical bays, but neither are refilling my suit as they should be. Tanks are not filling, rooms are not pressurizing, suit not refilling. the cryopods and enclosed cockpits are the only things that I can seems to refill my suit with.

I have 8000+ Hours in this game, so that makes me a vetran player. So I'm fully aware of how the game is "Supposed" to function. and I play accordingly.

It seems that people here are mostly only able to suggest things I have already tried.

I will simply say this, the game has a bug with the gas management code, I was simply here to report it. I was not asking for ways to work around it.

Been noticing the same problem. Also am noticing that sometimes the small hydrogen tank seems to empty for no reason.
Fitzy Mar 29, 2020 @ 11:49am
Thought I had this happen yesterday, tried the old turn it off and on etc, nothing, was just the tanks that weren't filling, med bay still worked, yet that was built the day before, Checked all the connections twice, even removing armour to see and same thing, I was considering grinding it all down and rebuilding but they eventually just started filling after about 5/10 mins, was last I done I let them finish filling before I logged, I will log in when there is a slot on the server and check that they're still functioning.

Good Idea, Please let me know if they're still working. I was playing Single player btw, haven't tried with multiplayer, but I suspect that this bug effects both modes.
