Cannot Build From A Cockpit [SOLVED]
So, I have my welder ship all set up properly (large conveyors, proper connections, components ready to go, default controls) but I cannot press CTRL-G to bring up the block menu from the cockpit. I was wondering if anybody has had this problem and fixed it.

I am experiencing no other glitches, bugs, or anything that seems out of the ordinary.

I turned on experimental mode, and now it works wonderfully. Thank you, this fixed the issue.

I'll say try in a new creative world for a fast test cause I can't find any reports at all about this from the Testers Reports > https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/general

And if you can't make it work = sent your save to the Devs with a short description of the problem. (link above ^)

Thanks. I tried getting into the dev created ships from the easy Earth start, and the problem persists. Both in survival and creative. I'll keep exploring the issue, thanks !

Question:
Is your cockpit connected to the conveyor system and storage?

I believe that is required for it to work.

I don't think you need to press CTRL... try just g.

I think CTRL-G switches to the block mode, then you open panel with G again to see the blocks. Took me a bit to figure out. CTRL-G to switch modes back and then G again to open ship panel.
