if not maybe the owner has turned scripts off, doesnt matter what you do then.
I think I might have found the issue. The config panel that GTXGaming has allows to setup all kind of stuff for a game, but once the gameworld is generated changing it won't have much of an effect. I've found that options in sbc file in save and they are set to false.
I'll check later if this is the case.
You could also ask the Devs > https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/general
I needed to change it in sbc file in game world folder. Setting it up in GTXGamin dashboard wasn't enough.
Very similiar issue to one I saw here when everybody was an admin.
I use at home in my second PC so I don't know much about rented servers but you could ask the SE Server Admins on Keen Discord next time you have a problem cause I see them helping members every days over there and some are using rented servers so it will surely help to ask there.

I will add your post #4 as the "answer" so you can modify this one and will show "solved"
We must enable Experimental first from the game options and enable Scripts from the world advanced settings after, to be able to use the PB.
Edit
+
Settings for servers need to be identical for the main spaceengineers-dedicated.cfg and sandbox_config.sbc in the save folder

Note
I will lock this old obsolete discussion because the game is not the same and don't be shy to create a new 2021 if you still have problems.
