How do I find fellow players in Survival?
Me and my buddy are starting in Survival. The one on Scenario 3 where your pods drop in. The problem is we can't seem to find each other at all. It feels like we are miles apart.

Is there some command or map way to set Waypoints so we can find each other if we are on the same team? It is really frustrating it is so hard to locate each other, we are both really new to this game.

So, I assume you're out of each others suit antenna range? If using unmodified keyboard then "O" switches your suit antenna on/off. Check you haven't turned it off.

Also, join the same faction all of you. One can create it and the others can join. The broadcast signal range is different for "hostiles" and "friendlies". If you are friendlies the range should actually be quite big.

If the above won't help and you're really very far away from each other then you can swap GPS locations of where you are:
- Open your inventory with "I" and choose the tab "GPS"
- Click "New from current pos." (bottom-left). This will create a new GPS marker positioned at your current location.
- The above GPS marker is now listed on the GPS screen under "GPS list:" with a default name "<your name> #1" e.g. I'd get "Pembroke #1". Choose that from the list.
- Notice that on the right side you now see the coordinates of this location (X, Y, Z numbers).
- Hit "Copy to clipboard" button
- Then switch to tab "Comms" and paste the numbers to your message and "Send". Well, you may want to join your faction first and keep this in family. At least if you're playing in a PvP-server... :steamhappy:
- Or, alternatively you can communicate the location to your friends with other means, like if you're using a voice channel etc.

Your friend will then do:
- Go to the GPS tab
- Create a new *empty* GPS marker by pressing "New"
- Copy the numbers he got from you into the X, Y, and Z fields
- Done. Exit back to game. Your friend now sees your location in his HUD and the distance to it no matter how far you're apart. Even if you're on different planets.

You can do the reverse so you got your friends position.
