power cells

so i just started the game and i'm trying to make a rover but i can't find any power cells for the battery. Where can i craft or get these. So far the only source that i found are dogs.

carefull battery is the only thing if you destroy you dont take back the power cells

i was trying to make an assembler but you need metal grids for those.

so i've got the refinery but isn't this just to make materials. I don't think it can make power cells and if it can how?

Power cells can be crafted at the "Basic Assembler", luckily they only cost iron, nickel, and silicon, so the survival kit can refine stone to get all the materials you need.

Also if you find you don't have certain materials.. your drop pod has enough stuff to grind down. (not the battery, or Survival kit or o2 gen though) to get you some small pipes, large pipes and grids.

mostly in the Thrusters.. Most important the Hydro thruster at the bottom most people miss this one.

Wait I just started playing on the terran world... I built an assembler but it won't make power cells without power from a battery (I tried setting up solar but it isn't distributing power without battery?)

I can't make a battery without power cells. I can't get power cells without a battery. What am I missing?

You need more power it seems. Let your current battery charge, then try building what you need.

Long story short:
-Ore-->Refinery-->Ingots
-Ingots-->Assembler-->Parts for battery, and energy gathering tools

If you're collecting power but don't have enough stored yet, wait until you have enough stored.
If you don't have any way to make enough solar/wind/hydrogen power, or the ability to store any power, than you need a reactor with uranium.
If you can do NONE of this, than you've lost, because you legit can't collect enough power, and I'm not sure that's even possible.
