Dedicated Server Settings for Survival, Help!

My dedicated server by default seems to have messed up settings such as deleting spawn ship on logout? wtf is that on true by default? also asteroids are set to 0? what are the default settings for survival because these sure as hell aren't.

There are supposed to be options in the dedicated server program for everything you mentioned. Did you scroll down? :D

i SEE I CAN CHANGE THEM BUT WHAT IS RIGHT? 1Z INV? 100X INV? there is nothing showing defaults at all, and im sure the game deleting your base on log out is NOT default...

No idea, creating a new world might show you the defaults.

There are many option you can change from true/false true=enabled false=disabled

Should be called something like <RespawnShipDelete>true</RespawnShipDelete>

set the true part to false, as for bases despawning that is out of my knowledge as i never had the issue myself, i can only guess its something todo with trash removal and auto clean up, if you messed with any of these in the server.cfg or sandbox.sbc and not sure what your doing your probs better or restarting wiping your server and getting to know some of the lines of code and what they do before editing & try backup your files after every single edit!

server host has easy config for toggles and settings. in game when u make a server the MULTIPLIER REATES ARE ALL 3X but on my server they are 5x 3x 10x etc. they even wiped and reinstalled my server and its same so...

It's worth patches for God, let us play those of us who have dedicated servers who are all day holy changing parameters, it's worth man.

If i change asteroid amounts etc on dedicated server does this update in game or does the server need to be wiped and remade?

Game deleting spawn ship at logout is normal and default. Spawn ship is a temporary structure, intended only to help you in your first login when playing. It's recommended to break it down into its components before you logoff.

Or merge it with a block you built on a planet :) So you can use it as a starter base.
