Is it optimized tho?
I played this game ages ago and let me tell you, it was not optimized at all. Then they added planets and such but i always felt like the optimization factor was left out of it.
I tried it some time ago with my new Pc which is really good but still, it did not feel smooth in the slightest.
Now they're leaving early access which is great, but did they optimize it?

How they think they can get this game to run on an xbox one is beyond me

why they would even want to bother is beyond me, then again consoles have been beyond my understanding for multiple decades

Soooo much better than a couple years ago. Just after planets.... they were the dark days of 13fps on a planet surface and crashing when a wheeled vehicle drove more than 100m

I can honestly say i havent had a crash in months now. And i do build pretty rotor heavy contraptions. Couple cases of clang but nowhere near the scale that used to be either. FPS wise im rocking 60 at 1080p with a good 30k blocks on screen.

Ofc a lot of it is rig dependant but everything is the same in my 2nd rig as it was back then. But the stability and performance is worlds better :)

Yes you are special or you don't know what a issue is. EVERYONE has bad performances in this game, literally everyone. 15k$ Pcs too.
no not every one does my old pc did fine with its 7gen i5 and 1050ti which was like a £500 i now have a ryzen threadripper 1920x and a 1070ti wich is a £1500 pc and i get literatly no problems

So you people are telling me that when i turn my camera towards a big ship the game doesn't stutter at all? Because stuttering and FPS instability were the main issues
i never get that infact yesterday i was beating the living crap out of a 220k block Borg cube and only getting minor sim speed drops. no stuttering or Fps drop really.

might just be you pc thats the problem if you have anything less than a 1050ti for a gpu and an i5 then you defiantly need to upgrade your pc to play SE

wait... it was´nt optimized in alpha stage ?
i see this all the time 'i have an i7 and 1080ti' and people complain about the performance of space engineers. its probably some weird compatibility issue or if your trying to run the game at 4K max settings it does warn you not to i cant do that and my card in effect is a 1080 founders addition disguised as a 1070 so if you haven't already try 1440p or 1080p.
