Hydrogen engine powered, connected to conveyors, full hydrogen tank to draw from.
Didn't want to work. Turning it off and then on again fixed the issue.
(Short: After placing the engine, turn on and off the block, that always works for me)
Seriously though turn the engine off and back on to reset its state. If this doesn't work you might have a hydrogen problem along the pipes. Check in order:
Engine on/off
Hydrogen supply (ice in o2 gen Stockpile set to OFF on all tanks)
Conveyor systems (all doors connect)
Hack Engine
If you follow these steps you should be able to resolve the issue. If the issue persists then you might consider making a bug report. However your issue will most likely be resolved by following the above checklist.
This broke the batteries(they produced like 100w. on off etc didtn help) on my miner while the generator keept turning while not producing an ypower. had to reload.
just remotly related but could save some one some grey hair.
SE -now with planets lol.
from what i've gathered from others, most folks use them as a backup generator to charge batteries. like i said though, i don't really use them. they're buggy ice hogs so i don't even stress myself with them.
Course, if you've put hydrogen directly in the engine it should work anyway.
Never bothering with this pointless addition to the game, they could have done 100 other things instead.
1. Restart the Engine a Couple of times.
2. Place a new Conveyer Tube so that it refreshes what is connected with what.
