Cargo containers large and small grid

I'm in survival Easy Start Space, im using the drilling ship there it's small block, I I'm trying to build a small conveyor system to tie into the large so I can unload these things to start processing, as I see the large grid SMALL cargo container has both large AND Small conveyor connections on it, so how do I tie it into my large system so i can get this drill unloaded

no large grid block has small conveyor ports at all. But a small grid connector and a large grid connector will attach just fine

you could use a collector on the large grid and an ejector on the small ship

When it comes down to the moment of truth and to finally get the answer, this guy doesn't even know what he is talking about.....
There has gotg to be some official way to do this, I can believe it's not allowed.
As any normal person will want to build a large mining ship and carry small drill ships to mine asteroids, but without a way to even unload them is just sicckkening to me, and i cant even find videos on it ...... i search

Dude its connectors like first guy said. Put the connector on your hotbar, select it and look at your small grid. It will become a small grid connector and snap.

Then look at your large grid and it will become the large version. You will see yhe model change.

Then you fly your small ship up to the base. Align the connectors and press p to lock. Once locked items can flow from ship to station or vice versa :)

no need to be rude to someone trying to help you.
Learning to use the Connectors was one of the first things I learned. I'm sorry that you can't seem to grasp it, but that doesn't excuse your attitude.

I already know how to do the excess stone thingy, my problem is getting a small ship built on small blocks, to move the collected ore into a large block system with refineries and such.
That is all.
My game is behaving in a way that does not allow it.
Possibly using the connectors...... with lack of instruction on using the connectors themselves as I see mostly what is happening in all YouTube videos........ as they have finally discovered the secret on how to do it...... but not share it.
Yea they show you how to place and build the blocks, but not how to actually use them.

Fly small ship so they line up

The will attract to eachother

Once they do hit P to lock them and now cargo can flow each way.

as soon as you dock using the connectors , your refineries will automatically pull the ore into them, same with your o2 generators and ice

Something is not right, I'm using the Easy Start Space as that is from an older version that may conflict, I'm a build it all from scratch and then see it work
