That having been said, if you're finding 10x isn't enough and you can't build a ship suitable for the purpose, you can manually edit the multiplier within the save. Open the Sandbox.sbc file found in the corresponding directory within %appdata%\SpaceEngineers\Saves\<Your Steam ID> and scroll down or search until you find the line which specifies InventorySizeMultiplier. Change the number to whatever you please.
A mod could also do it by adjusting the default Engineer's carrying capacity, or creating a high-capacity Engineer. This would involve editing the Characters.sbc file and changing the value of InventoryVolume.
For all the inefficiencies involved in using standard XML to save/store data, it does make manual edits much easier.
Thanks for the help. I did the first option about changing it in the saved file.
Same feedback, even the volume comment. XD
I get that the inventory size feels super, Super small!
Glad you found a fix that works for you.
I use the nanite mod. It works, technically, but it's slow and glitches when updates release.
