Report a translation problem
The only way to "mirror" entire grid sections to be left or right handed is to build rotational symmetry into them from the beginning, then rotate them. You can then join them together & use block symmetry to add in any other blocks you might want.
It's a really good idea though & a lot of people would probably go for it - you should suggest it on the new KSH feedback pages...

I kind of guessed there was no such thing :)
And yes, it's a pity - it would allow for modular ship parts to be blueprinted and modified far easier.
It's easy to forget to turn symmetry on and get carried away making changes. Happens to me all the time. You're right, it's a pain!
Since Keen are still welcoming suggestions I'm a bit more optimistic that they're not done adding things, so hopefully we'll get that tool to mirror whole grids now you've suggested it,
